Coastal Breeze Cottage is our light and bright beachy townhome that sits high ABOVE the beach for the best coastal ocean and sunset views around. It's the perfect place to stay at home, cook a fabulous dinner and enjoy the cliff top wide ocean views. If you are looking for a quiet, low tech, relaxing getaway with views in mind (not being on the sandy beach), this home is perfect. Our NON-smoking town home comfortably accommodates 2 guests and a dog . Please read entire listing before booking.
The space
Our light and bright cottage style town home is a relaxing fun place that gives the feeling of Art at the beach. Lighthouses, colorful dishes, Turquoise accents all give the Coastal Living feel.
Enjoy ocean views from nearly every room in this custom townhome 60 feet above the beach. Relax as you hear the roar of the ocean when you prepare a meal in our well stocked kitchen. We are a two minute drive to the sandy beach. (no direct access from our property cliff)
There are two private bedrooms on main level, plus one loft bonus reading room with a daybed (no door) up the spiral staircase. Up the spiral stairs is perfect reading room or for the kids (not adults) to sleep. Master suite includes awesome view of the ocean. Comfy Queen bed, nightstands for each with nice lighting. TV with Blueray DVD player plus sumptuous ensuite master bath with jetted tub, double sinks and sprayer (*no stand up shower). The other bath has oversized roll-in shower plus stacking washer and dryer.
You will get a clean, comfortable home with exceptional ocean views and in this home we do allow responsible owners with a well behaved, clean dog. (subject to acceptance of dog agreement)
You will find all the linens and kitchen items you could possibly need. The feeling of relaxation will happen as you take in the views of the dramatic sea.
Our twin townhome is perched on the bluff and sits along the main highway, but not a busy road by no means. Next door to the south is another vacation home, but we have a lovely secret garden buffer that adds privacy from neighbor. The north townhome is our own second home.
We are located just a 20 minute drive from Ocean Shores - where you will find more activity with lots of shops and restaurants. Movie theater, golf course, water slides, go Karts, horseback riding and more.
Our duplex town homes were created by my husband and myself from our heart and sole and guests have said that it provides a magical place to escape. Whether you like to read, do art or poetry - this is the place to kick back and do the things you can't do in daily life.
Guest access
Guests will have access to entire townhome, backyard, Electric grill, picnic table and patio. There are a few locked cabinets in home that are not available for guests. There are two townhomes side by side duplex style and there is a fence dividing the yard on the ocean view side. Maximum parking for two cars in tandem on the south side of the driveway. Security code will be provided in our Welcome Letter
1-5 days prior to your arrival.
Other things to note
We have a wood burning stove in the living room. Dry wood bundles can be purchased at the Moclips Country Store just up the road. We have an outdoor fire pit in the summer months for our guests use. We have a George Foreman Electric grill. We have two bathrooms - one with a jetted tub and one with a shower. Situated on a low usage State highway we do have an occasional logging truck pass by. Summer months can be busier. Our front porch lights are set to stay on day/night for security reasons. (light might bother some if room darkening drapes open) We have WIRELESS internet with best service available, but we are in a remote area and bandwidth is limited so no guarantees. Our rural internet does not allow for streaming but we do have Satellite TV, an extra HDMI port (if you bring your own device) and a nice DVD library. Cell service is limited so check with your carrier, but we do offer a landline phone in each home for use when needed. (keep unplugged when not in use as this is shared).

Hardworking customer service oriented Real Estate Broker by profession. Married to Rich 36+ years who also enjoys the healing powers of the ocean. My husband Rich and I love traveling when we can with our fur kids, we both love music, a good movie and I enjoy doing photography. As a Fifth generation Washingtonian, I can help answer most questions about traveling to the Pacific Northwest.
We live and work in Olympia part time and spend as much time as we can at our home on the Washington Coast.
